Options for transportation to the airport

We are staying offsite and some of our group are leaving a few days before the rest of us. Of course those of us staying don't want to take our park time to drive the others to the airport. And since we're not staying onsite the magical express is not an option. I was looking for some info about towncars or cabs or shuttles. Does anyone have any experiences or recommendations they can share?

A lot will depend on how many people and how far from the airport.

Cabs always are an option. Cost will vary based on how far from the airport you are. Vehicles include sedans that can hold up to four people or vans that can hold up to six or seven passengers. If you have more people than that you will need more than one cab. You can use the Mears taxi fare estimator to get some sense of what it might cost per vehicle for you.

Car services will provide town cars for up to four passengers, and limos and vans that can hold more. Vans can hold 10 or more people. The good news if you have a big party is that a van for 10 generally is not a whole lot more expensive than a town car for four.

You can have them use the off airport check in service and they offer a free shuttle to Orlando Airport.
