We have a split stay booked, checking into the Boardwalk Villas for 6 nights, then 2 nights in the Poly Bungalow. We will not have a car. What is the best option for the transfer day? Are the Minnie Vans running? Taxi? We prefer not to use Disney Transportation and lug our suitcases on and off the buses/monorail, etc. Thanks!

Normally, your bags could be transferred from one Disney resort to the other, at no charge. However, with so many services being suspended, lately, I would call Disney and ask if they are still doing bag transfers. If operating, you would give your bags to Bell Services, and they would fill out a transfer form with your info.

There are no Minnie Vans right now, but Uber and Lyft are possibilities.

@shoreward is on it! But if you need to use your own trasnportation I'd be more inclined to use a Mears taxi, I think a better change of it following proper cleaning and safety protocols then Uber/Lyft - just JMHO though.

You would not be permitted to carry your luggage on Disney buses or monorail in any case, so that’s not an option even if you were interested. When switching between resorts, we had bell services transfer our luggage in the only case where we did not have a rental car. That was between BWV and AKL-Kidani. We had a grocery bag of supplies that needed refrigeration as we moved between villas. Everything arrived cold, so bell services appeared to be familiar with that option.

I would expect Disney would move your bags for you as they have in the past.
We called bell services, they came and took our bags, groceries, etc. We had a ticket with the number of bags they picked up.
All we had to do was pack up the bags and unpack at the new resort. Was very easy.

Thanks to all!! We have never done a resort transfer, so good to know. I will definitely call and confirm that this still possible through Bell Services.

I am coming in about 10 days, and I am moving a few times. I asked the folks delivering my groceries(dizzy Dolphin) if they knew if groceries and luggage were being moved at this time. Chris from Dizzy Dolphin did some research and confirmed that bell services is still moving luggage and groceries. Even though I’m renting a car I will be using this service. Have a great trip!
