Are there any other options other than the $11 parking fee for the garage? Possibly a parking pass, a shuttle from an off site location or street parking and walk into the park. Thanks
We are renting a townhouse at Winsor Hills. I'm sure our options are very limited and understand that we will most likely be paying to park, I was just curious.
And how much is disney's parking these days...out of curiosity?
You're right. Your options are very limited. There really isn't anything within walking distance where you can leave you car. I think you'll just have to pay. If you had an annual pass, you wouldn't have to pay for parking!
It's $11 to park, the sign is here.

You can park for free in the TGIFridays lot across the street. No one will mess with your car, the walk is about 10 minutes to the garage.
Universal Orlando Offsite Hotels
The problem with hotel shuttles is that they don't start running until 9 or 10am. This takes away your early morning advantage. The other thing is hotel shuttles are spotty when it comes to the schedule, and at some hotels, you have to pay.
AND....you do realize that disney sets the precedent on prices. When they raise prices, so does everyone else.
It only seems like $11, but it adds up if visiting multiple parks over many days. People in RRC would laugh at me when I posted about parking across the street at the various parks and walking. But let's pretend I'm going to visit IOA for 3 days, and SWF twice on different days. The parking would be about $55. That can buy dinner for a family.
