I'm looking for advice.

There are 7 of us - 3 teenage boys, 7 yr old, 8 yr old, myself and my husband. We are going in mid august. I booked 2 rooms at CSR, but now I'm concerned because noone wants to sleep in the same bed.

I know we can get roll aways, but they take up room and make the cost more $$.

Originally I looked into 2 bedrm villa, BC and WL had no availability. plus they only have 4 beds.

Help!! Can anyone suggest other options on sight, especially that won't bankrupt us. I'm hoping I just missed something.

Most of the deluxes have a daybed that one of the kids can sleep on. POR also has the rooms with the trundle beds - so the little ones could each sleep on a trundle bed, then the 3 teenagers could each have their own bed, and you & DH share.

Why not suggest to the teens that the 7 & 8 yr old will sleep in the room with you and DH, and they can have the other room and alternate who gets to sleep alone?

DVC villas do not offer rollaways at all. So even if you get a two bedroom villa, someone will have to share beds.

Talk to the kids. Ask them if they want to do a lottery to see who gets to go and who stays home because someone is going to have to share a bed if everyone goes. Then tell them whoever stays home is going to be very missed on the trip.

I love the way you think.:lmao:

how big is the 7 year old?

okw has king bed, queen sleeper sofa, 2 queen beds - so right 4.

but there is a love seat that a small child could easily sleep on. just bring an air mattress for the other child.

or the new AKV 2-bedroom
has - king bed, queen sleeper sofa, 1 queen bed, 1 double sleeper sofa plus a chair bed

so again bring an air mattress for the extra bed.

for the air mattress and love seat - remember you have to bring the blankets and sheets and pillows - make the kids bring them - since they are the problem

Too funny. :lmao:

Air mattresses are the way to go. You'll only need one per room. Get a couple of twin air mattresses and one of those Coleman (or similar) inflators - probably can get the air mattresses for $10 each and the inflator for $20? $40 total. Then you will have 6 beds: 1 per child and 1 for you & DH.

Some have said housekeeping will even give you extra sheets for them but I don't know first hand if this is true.

TSA always, always opens my suitcase with the inflator. Just a heads up.
