In one other post someone brought up the point that some of the 1BR (I believe WLV, BW, BC) can have 5 people, but that there is no actual bed or linen for the 5th person. I know that you can puchase additional towels, but i am wondering if there are services which you can rent an airmattress and linen from in the orlando area. If you are driving in there isn't much of an issue because you can pack an airmattress, but for those flying packing those bedding items will take up too much space.

How do people handle this? --Is your only real option to book another resort? a 2BR might be too many points for us.

Some families with smaller children have one of them in the king size bed with them. I've also read of using the sofa cushions for a small child but you'd have to have sheets/blankets or sleeping bag and it would have to be the type that the cushions come off when you make up the pull out.

Personally, I'd book with at least the minimum sleeping spots already provided for what I needed though.

You can get an el cheapo twin air mattress for $30 that includes the pump. Just buy that, have amazon ship it to your resort, and pack a set of sheets and a small throw blanket in your suitcase. Use a couch cushion as a pillow, or take one of the 4 pillows from the queen bed. A twin set of cheap sheets shouldn't cost much. All told, you can probably get the extra sleeping space for $50. Cheap enough, that you could likely just toss it all when you're done with the trip. But i'd suggest just packing it all up in a suit case and using it for next trip. Or, if you have owners locker, put it all in there.

I don't know if this is normal but there is usually an extra blanket in the entry closet when we stay at BWV 1 bedroom, and usually extra sheets too. Also, pillows are not an issue. The king master bed has at least 4 pillows, maybe more, and there are 2 for the queen sofa bed. I don't see why you couldn't request sheets from housekeeping and be charged. That leaves just figuring out the mattress and Amazon is easy or, if you have a rental car, stop at Target.

Isn't the sheets and pillows in the closet often for the pullout couch? Housekeeping doesn't always make up the pullout couch like they should.

I don't know about other 1 bedrooms but 2049 is the BW view 1 bedroom HA room we always get. The sofabed is always made up and the pillows are in the chest under the living room TV. But usually extra sheets and a blanket are in the entry way closet as well.

I know that DVC always says they won't provide bedding, but I have requested it numerous times and always been accommodated. Not because we are over capacity, but because the sheet and blanket on the pullout are not enough to keep my girls warm. Last time we were at SSR for one night I called and requested an extra blanket. They delivered a large plastic bag that had an egg crate, an additional set of sheets and a couple of blankets. I have a twin aerobed that we travel with often. As a family of 5 we have this issue in many places, not just DVC. Honestly, check your local Walmart, a brand new air mattress really does not take up that much space and would be pretty cheap.

I Don't believe anybody said they won't provide bedding. They do provide bedding (sheets and stuff) they won't provide a bed or cot. Sometimes you might not have to pay for the extra bedding if your lucky.

Actually, that is exactly what the website says. Bedding not provided for the 5th person.

Have taken aerobed several times. Packed in a rolling duffel bag with a set of sheets and used as checked luggage. We always fly SW so that helps. I wish they had put the pull down beds in the one bedrooms that don't have a sleeper chair also since they put them in the studios. It costs twice as many points for the 1 BR and most only provide sleeping space for 4 and only have one bathroom as do the studios. Just don't understand the thinking sometimes.
