We are scheduled to stay at VGF from Sept 5-13th. When we first booked our trip, we were only planning on the 6th-13th, but several months ago we decided to add an extra day based on airline schedules. Unfortunately, at the time we wanted to add the extra day, all 1-bedroom standard view villas at VGF were booked, so we ended up reserving the first day in a studio at VGF. (We are renting points.) So we are basically checking into a studio on the 5th and then checking into a 1-bedroom on the 6th, which kind of stinks. There are two separate reservations.
I just checked the website, and it looks like a 1 bedroom is now available on the 6th! I'd like to just cancel the first (studio) reservation and extend our second reservation to include the 5th.
BUT --- I am worried that this will cause problems with the current ADRs we have booked (I booked the first two days of ADRs using the first reservation (it would only let me book those two days at 180 days) and the rest are booked under the second reservation. What are your thoughts on this? Do you expect that there will be problems?
Our tickets are linked, but I haven't booked FP+ yet (our 60 day mark is 7/7).
Should I just leave the reservations as is (and deal with the slight hassle of moving rooms on our second day), or should I go ahead and rebook?
Which option gives me the least risk of MB glitches? I have been worried all along that having a technical split stay (two reservations) puts us at risk of glitches anyway. So would combining the reservations into one actually help with that risk?
I know this is probably confusing...I hope someone is able to understand what I am asking, lol. Thanks!
