Option to add person to existing Fastpass, gone?

I made my FP at 60 days out like the (over) planner that I am. Today, less than 30 days 'til we arrive, I find out that my niece will be joining us. Yeah!

I've dealt with this before, so I link her account (with AP) in my friends and family. I go into the Fastpass page to try to copy the Fastpass resevations we already have onto her as well... and I swear the link is gone. Someone please tell me where to find the options to 'add Friends and Family to existing Fastpass', or whatever it was that allows you to copy Fastpasses from one person to another. I know what it looks like because I've seen it a thousand times, except when I need it. I feel like I'm losing my mind. Please tell me I am just missing it, not that it has actually been removed from MDE!

Go to each booked FP and select Change Party. Select her to add.

I tried that, but unless there is an exact time match, it comes up as unavailable for the whole party. We are a party of 9 to 11 (depending on the day) so finding that many at the exact same time can be tough. It used to give me overlapping times at least. Any other options out there?

call and complain is the only thing that I can think of.. maybe they can override it in their system and just add them.

You could try booking FP individually for her, within an overlapping window so she can get in line to ride with the group. Getting a FP for one might be easier than trying to change a large party. If harder rides(7DMT, TSM, etc) don't have room for 1 FP , try calling to see if they can help you add her to those.

I have been this situation (also with my niece!) and all you can do is search for a FP+ for one person and then keep moving the times until they at least overlap yours. Just because you booked x # of FP+ doesn't mean you can automatically add another - you can only add if that time is available.

We eventually got almost everything we had for her and since I had already done FOP I let her use my band to ride that and FEA since we didn't get them for her.

Keep refreshing it. If you wanted the FP for around noon, you can click 12:00, then 12:30, then 1:00, then 12:00 again, etc and it usually gives you new times each time. All you need is 5 minutes overlapping. Also, you can generally use your FP 5 minutes early and 15 minutes late if all else fails (don’t count on it though. It’s always best to use your FP in the regular window if possible.). If someone’s FP expires earlier than everybody else’s by just a few minutes, they can scan at the first touchpoint and wait inside the queue for however long they need to.

On Monday our 60 day window opened but one of our party of 4 had issues with her AP being linked. I made FP+ for the rest of us and sat on the phone with Disney for the next 2 hours trying to work it all out. When they finally got her AP to show correctly in the system, they were able to add her on to all the FP+ reservations I had made earlier that day for the rest of our party.

Granted, it was all still on the 60 day mark but it’s worth a call!

ETA: I’m so sorry, I just realized this was way back in last June... whoops! Hope it got resolved!

As far as I can tell, the old functionality has never returned. We can occasionally find an overlapping time for a single, but no way to add one to the party unless all can re-book for an available time. More often, we'll use the 'change party' option to move a FP from someone who doesn't care as much about that ride so that the kids can ride together.
