Opteka/Rokinon fisheye lens focus?

I just hot an Opteka 6.5mm FE lens and was wondering if anyone worries about focusing the lens or just leave it on a fixed distance and shoot at f8 or above?

I only worry about focus when I have a close main subject/object I want in focus (5 feet or less). Aside from that, I usually have it set for whatever aperture I need and infinity and don't worry too much about the focus. You can check out DOFMaster to get an idea of the limits for the depth of field.

I will have to check that out. I have been putting it on 1.5 ft and leaving it at that and I have been shooting at f8. Its too hard to focus through the viewfinder with such a wide lens.
