Did anyone get the recipe for Dr. Oz' green drink? If you did, please list it.

I see the recipe but no measurements?

Is anyone going to do the 14 day plan?
I figure I will start it when we get back from WDW (Thanksgiving)

It's on here in a couple minutes. I'll try to catch it if no one else has it.

Wasn't the show great?!

We had a nice salad for supper, very, very light on the dressing....I added chopped walnuts to mine. It is really good! For dessert we had oranges and homemade yogurt sundaes. Yummers!

The recipe for the drink is probably on Oprahs website. Did Dr. Oz say that he drinks that every morning?:scared:

It's -

4 stalks celery
1 cucumber
1 cup raw spinach
1 lemon
1 lime
1 large apple
1/2" piece of ginger

Blend and drink

I might be able to drink this if it were done in a juicer or blended and strained really well. No way could I choke down all the fibrous stuff that will settle at the bottom of the glass with Dr. Oz's method. :crazy2:

Thanks everyone!! I really appreciate it!:)

There is NO way I'm drinking THAT! :scared: I'd rather eat all that stuff.

I found this online
Dr. Oz Green Drink Recipe
 • 2 apples, cored
 • 2 big handfuls of spinach
 • 1/2 cup of chopped parsley
 • 1 celery stick
 • 1 thumb length of ginger root, peeled
 • 1 lemon with peel intact
 • 1 medium cucumber
Place ingredients in a blender, add a handful of ice cubes and puree quickly for one minute. Makes two glasses of Dr. Oz’s green drink.
The green drink has a strong taste and if you are used to drinking soda or sweet tea, the taste will take some getting used to. Dr. Oz suggests adding other items at first to sweeten the green drink to your taste.
Green drink - Optional ingredients:
 • 2nd cucumber
 • raw carrot
 • unsweetened fruit juice
 • banana

Throw in a cup of vodka and I'm there.:)

No kidding. So come on, have any of you tried it? I know that Oprah said it was good, but I have learned over the years that she lies, lies, LIES! :rotfl2: I don't know how many crappy movies I've run out to see because they were her "favorite ever!!!!" So, yea, I don't trust her.

I'll live for half the time and enjoy my coffee every morning instead of cucumber juice, thanks anyway.

Thanks, I came in on this show late and wanted the recipe (not that I'd probably use it ...) I had a friend that used to put carrots and a can of pineapple (unsweetened) in a blender with some water ... it was very sweet and tasty.

You know, I wouldn't want to live to 100 if all my peeps were gone ....:confused3 And no way I could get DH to go for most of what Dr. Oz was suggesting.

I know this is a really old thread, but I was wondering if anyone has actually tried Dr Oz's green juice. I got a nice blender for Christmas and I need to start eating healthier, but from the recipe, I'm not so sure how it would taste.

I couldn't bring myself to make my own so I found a Green Smoothie drink already made at Walmart. It's by Bolthouse Farms and is similar to Dr. Oz's. It's not too bad, I've been drinking a glass every day but the kids are totally grossed out by it because it looks like green sludge. They call it Shrek's Swamp Juice!:)

I love this stuff! :thumbsup2. When I broke my arm, I craved this all day and night (I even dreamed about it!). :cloud9:
