Incredible Weight-Loss Stories
From 320 pounds to one hot babe, and a grandma who got "ripped"...how did they do it? Plus, a man who lost 560 pounds in less than a year. You have to see it to believe it!

Is this today? I will have to ask my DH to tape it. He is a lucky duck and home with the kids today and tomorrow.

It's so inspirational to watch Opera when she does things on loosing weight.

Don't know if anyone caught it or not but the man that lost 560 pounds passed away on June 26th from congestive heart failure. They did not say anything but it was a silent message on the screen.

So So sad. He had just started having a life.:( :(

I got to see it - thanks for the heads up!

Interesting that two of the guests talked about Disney World! :)

Very eerie with Peter saying something about losing the weight and being on Oprah and that he could die now and be happy. So sad. :(

I have to say that this show was a true inspiration! The mom Laura with the 4 year old that went to WDW and couldn't fit on any of the rides made me cry tears of pain and joy, when she lost her weight and got to go back and really enjoy it! Ohhh, I was weeping! It made me realize, actually visualize, that my 75 pounds by October 2004 is not only do-able, it is inevitable! If these courageous people, especially Peter who died June 26th, lost literally hundreds of pounds each, then I KNOW that I can lose 75 pounds! For all of us, no matter what size or goal, it is a commitment to ourselves....if we cannot keep a promise to ourselves, then who can we make a promise to?

I feel inspired! And, I actually did biceps/triceps during every commercial, so that I was actually "participating" in the weight loss, instead of watching it!

I love Oprah, and WISH boards...let's keep up our "promises".

I taped it and watched it late last night. It was a great show. I too was crying watching the mom and her DD at WDW. I cried for her, but I also cried for me. I wish I would have gotten serious much sooner, we only have 18 weeks until our trip, and I need to loose over 100#. But, I did decide would do my best and see what results I get. And it was so sad that Peter died. All those years of weight on his body certainly took their toll.

I forgot to call DH to have him tape it. I hope they play it again in re-runs. It sounded like a great show.

Actually this was a re-run. I think it first aired in January.
