OPP Crackdown?

So DW and I were visiting my parents up in Niagara this weekend, then on Sunday we drove over to visit my best man and his wife in Oak Ridges. Is it me, or was the OPP doing some sort of crackdown on the 400 for speeding? I must have saw at least 6 people pulled over between the 407 and King Road. Also saw a *huge* number of cops on King between the 400 and Bathurst, but I guess that's normal.

Did anyone notice this/get nabbed?

They always do a crackdown on holiday weekends on all of the 400 series highways.

Every long weekend you will find twice as many cops on the 400 series highways for speed traps and seatbelt blitzes even to check child seats to make sure they are installed properly. I think it is a great idea but not one that should only happen on long weekends it should be all the time.
