Having a hard time deciding which princess character meal to choose for my DD, who will be 6 when we go next year. Cinderella isn't her favorite princess necessarily - she likes Ariel a lot and seems to like the others equally.

Out of the three, which is your choice and why?

Cinderella's Royal Table
Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner
Princess Storybook Dining

Thanks!

In my opinion, for the money and quality of food the breakfast with the Princess in Epcot at the Akershus is the best. At $28.99 ($17.99 kids) at Akershus versus $47.23 ($31.05 kids) at Cinderellas Royal Table breakfast you can use the money you save to do more fun things.

Granted, you aren't eating in Cinderella's castle when you do the Epcot breakfast. Still, the interaction with the princesses is equally good. And if you like breakfast food, doing a breakfast character meal saves you about $5 a person over lunch and $10 a person over dinner.

I really like 1900 Park Faire because of its location in the Grand Floridian....It's a grand entrance, and in some ways low key. The Prince will greet tour princess royaly, as will the step sisters (who are funny) and Cinderella, who is sweet, and the WICKED step mother, who keeps everyone on their Ps and Qs! Not being in a park, it just has a special feel: not just a part of a frenzy of activity.

I liked it before with the mice, but the way it is, you get 5 face characters, very much in character, who will speak with your young child, and make a lot of memories. Also, I think children like the independence of getting food off the buffet.

BTW, the dessert bar is an eyeful for the wee ones!

Many will disagree, and I have not been to Akerhaus, but I definitely prefer it to CRT!

We did all three on our trip earlier this month. For me, here are the pros and cons of each:

CRT - it is the most expensive. We ate breakfast here and while the food was good, it was breakfast - pretty hard to make it either great or terrible. We saw Cinderella in the lobby and then Aurora, Belle, Ariel, and Snow White upstairs. All of the princesses were very good and spent a nice amount of time at the table. Of course, the location and the views are what make this special.

Akershus - We LOVE the food here (but we are a fish loving family!) We had lunch and it was VERY good. We saw Belle in the lobby and then Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel and Snow White at the table. They didn't stay quite as long as at CRT, but we still had nice interaction.

1900 Park - We had supper here. The food was fine, but nothing spectacular. The characters here were VERY good, especially the stepsisters. However, if you are looking primarily for princesses, the only one is Cinderella. I found the restaraunt incredibly noisy.

I think the castle is a must do at least once, otherwise it's something she'll always feel like she missed out on.

we love the storybook breakfast. belle poses for pics (you will get a 5x7 included with the meal) then inside there are 4-5 more princesses. they're very attentive. we booked an 8:00 adr in october, and we met stitch, daisy, and donald on the way... dd had them all to herself for a few minutes since we were the only ones around. :cutie:

If she wants to see Ariel, definitely the Norway in Epcot. I thin the breakfast is the best. The Cinderella castle is a must do though, however, Ariel is not there. If your DD wants to see Ariel, I think that is the only place she can meet her, because of the Fantasyland expansion.

My choice would be CRT. There is just something magical about eating at the castle. With your DD being 6, this may be the only opportunity for her to eat there. I like the lunch at CRT and you could do BBB in the morning. The food was good and the interaction with the princesses wonderful. The only down side is as the prior poster stated, Ariel is only in Norway. If Ariel is a must, then Norway it must be.

We were at Akershus last July and we all absolutely LOVED it. We loved the atmosphere, the princesses and the food. There's nothing we DIDN'T like about it.

We ate at CRT 10 years ago and, honestly, it didn't make ANY kind of impression on us...neither good nor bad. It just "was." For the price, it should've wow'd us. :)

If I could only do one - and remembering that we've not done the one at the Grand Floridian - I'd absolutely do Akershus without pause.

My family and I have done them all. Our favorite is as follows:

Akersus Breakfast - many princess and some non princess

1900 Park Fare - more Cinderella, her sisters, and prince charming.

Goodluck!!!

I like Akershus in Norway. You get a whole bunch of princesses there (unlike 1900 Park Faire) and it is less expensive than CRT. The food was good at lunch and the princess interaction was great. We saw Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel and Aurora when we were there.

Ariel is at CRT now...we saw her June 6th, and another friend saw her there mid May.

She also does a meet and greet with Prince Eric in Adventureland daily.

That said, we preferred the Akershus breakfast, and we love 1900 Park Fare dinner...the stepsisters and Lady Tremaine are great!

As some who used to spend plenty of time in the World Showcase, if you were to choose Akershus, I'd definitely go for breakfast. A lot of folks come out of the dinner not realizing they weren't fans of Norwegian food. ;)

We had Ariel last week at both Akershus and CRT. 1900 Park Fare was okay, but not great. The characters are fun, but the princess is only Cindy.

I would hands down go for the castle. We've done breakfast and lunch there, and quite honestly, the lunch was really, really good. Breakfast was good, too. We've had 2 breakfasts in Norway, and we did enjoy them both.

But there is just something about eating in the castle. The atmosphere is royal, you are called my lord and my lady. It is MY must do meal for each trip, and my girls love it, too.

Thanks everyone for your opinions. I've pretty much decided on CRT for breakfast and Akershus for dinner.
