I was just going over plans for our trip at the end of August, and I have a dilemma. On Wednesday, Aug 27 I was planning on being in Hollywood Studios during the day; and since DHS is a 1/2 day park for us, we've made reservations for Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue for that night. Friday, Aug 29 was going to be spent in Epcot, with a dinner ADR at Rose and Crown. We would then stay to see Illuminations that night, most likely utilizing FP+ for that.
Now comes the problem. Friday night looks to be a PM EMH night for Epcot, which I believe traditionally makes that park much more crowded. Add onto that the fact that Magic Kingdom is closing at 7:00 pm that night, and I worry that Epcot will be overly crowded. So, my thought is, do I swap my Wednesday and Friday plans? I would then do Epcot/Rose and Crown/Illuminations on Wednesday, and DHS/Hoop-Dee-Doo Friday. An added bonus being, if Illuminations is canceled due to weather on Wednesday, we'll have a few extra days to be able to see it.
So, thoughts? Opinions? Am I over-thinking this, or am I on the right track? Thanks in advance!
