Opinions please!

Hi All- just checked in today at POR Royal Room and after coming back from dinner we find Mickey Mail on our little table for someone else that supposedly checked out two weeks ago(on the Mickey Mail it had the dates). Called the 'front desk' to inquire why someone was in our room leaving mail for a guest not in the room. They didn't seem to understand why I was concerned. I'm a little miffed that someone was in here but not sure if I'm just making myself upset over nothing. I'm not pitching a fit but wanted to hear everyone's thoughts??!?

Does seem odd that they don't know who is in the room and who was in it 2 weeks ago.....think that would bug me more than someone being in there (who is approved to go into rooms) as a result of a probable honest mistake. Housekeeping is there every day and that doesn't bother me.

I was thinking the same thing- I know nothing was taken but the thought that people are coming in my room for the wrong person felt a little wrong. Like you said- honest mistake. Guess I just needed to vent and make sure I wasn't missing a big red flag. thanks for your thoughts!
