Opinions please!

I was just wondering if you could find a spot at the hotel where she could run under a hose for a bit - maintenance could probably help in that regard.

The booties work great for us in the cold, she will keep them on then. But that is like once or twice a year here, since winter is only about 2 weeks long, if we get one, which is only once ever three years. I think we got about two inches of snow Christmas Day and that was our winter, it was back up to 36 degree a day later, melted and end of story. If I use booties on either of my dogs in the heat, they hate them, they are rubbery like and you have to put them on tight, my dogs in the heat just won't stop till they get them off. So I use wax. It works good, but like I say, to wet them down, remove the wax and re apply it is the best strategy, and to let her cool off after a hot day in the sun, not soaked, but at least a little splash will go a long way. We do try to do rides inside during the hottest part of day, like Ellen's ride, is a great 45 minutes out of the sun.

I live in desert, so but grew up in MA so I get the it seems hotter. It is, it is the humidity, we don't have it here, so 105 here, feels like 93 there. CA is like us, last year in sept, on a weekend in paradise pier at 2 in the afternoon, toy story was walk on, we did it three times in a row. Everything was empty. We could not figure out why until the news said 105, stay indoors. But to us we were use to it, so it did not feel to bad, and since they don't have to much humidity it was perfect for us. We did the whole park in like two hours.

I live in WA everyone thinks rain, but there is a desert here. When I got my dog, most people go to the school and do all the training there. I went to school two weeks, then they brought my dog to me for 10 days training. They said nothing against you, we just want to work in the inviroment since it is so different than we have seen, it will be great experience for our trainers. The side walks are narrow, they don't usually have zero entrances on the curbs for w/c, unless new. The roads never get torn up so are still old, and it goes on and on how different, they did have to train the dog a little differently since it is a weird environment.
