opinions please

do you recommend buying 2 resorts say, vb and okw? And how many points is the best to buy. I understand it depends on finances but, to many of you do you wish you have bought less and bank and borrowed more. how do you choose between resorts other than money, could you tell me why you bought your resort and are you glad you bought that one. do you regret not buying another?

I can only tell you that we bought into SSR because that was the one that was offered at the time we decided to buy into DVC. We figure that we can stay at the other resorts as well, so what does it matter which one we bought into (this is just our opinion as we are only 1 year owners at this point).

I think that our only regret will be that we didn't buy more points. We started out at 200 pts because we live in California and at this point since we both work, that is enough for us to come to SSR for a week a year. However, we are already planning a trip to Italy for next year and that will mean borrowing points probably from the following year, so we are already thinking that in the future we may add on points because as we reach retirement we are going to want to do more traveling and spend more time at SSR than one week, so more points will be needed.

Hope this made some sense but I know that there are lot of long-time DVC members out that who will give you more insight.
