It is a little much though. I think simpler is better. And it is kinda all over the place.

hmm, I think it is very creative, but I'm a bit confused.
there is so much going on I'm not sure what to focus on.
I like the fonts and colors, but I would have never realized that said 07 in blue until someone pointed it out.
I guess I also don't understand what the picture is telling me, what the story behind it is.

I like it, but then I don't.

What I mean is, I think it is very creatively done and I think the letters and fonts and other stuff are *supposed* to be messy cause hell, is spray paint ever very neat a tidy? I think the spacing of letters and the way they are arrainged makes it very interesting and rather unique and the placement of that "wallpaper" type image at the bottom stands out so contrastingly to the overall image that it makes your eyes look at the whole thing and not just focus on some parts here and there. Some art projects that I have seen do not accomplish this as sometimes, the audience's eyes are forced to one specific area. I think what makes this good is that it doesn't do that. Sparx, I think creatively, you did very well and artisitcally you also did very well.

However, I am not a fan of that style of art lol. While I think it is a good piece of artwork, it isn't for me. I don't know who that man is and that is probably why some people are saying it's "creepy". Perhaps if the importance of the man (i.e., who he is) was shown, people would take a different reaction to it.

Very well done, but not for me.

Yes I did. Overall, with all of the cuts and finding the right images, it took around 3 hours. I took a few breaks inbetween, so I worked on it for around 5.


And Cat,
I bought the rights to the man's photograph. He was on a cd in a pro photoshop magazine, that introduced me to the spray paint technique. I don't know who he is. I don't know what his story is. When I look at it, I see a city. I'm looking at modern life. You know when you're on a bus, and you look out the window and you see someone, and they just catch your eye, but you don't know why? Thats what I was trying to capture. Some people think he's creepy. Some think he's sad. I think he's lost. In my head, there's a whole story. In my head, he has a name, a past ,and a future.

But hey, what do I know. I'm just an artist.

the floral part and roar is pretty awesome.
i love that, and the grafitti is pretty cool.

but then i look at the guy and he looks like he doesn't belong on the wall.
it seems like he has been cut and pasted on it.


but yea, that's just my opinion.

i wish i could do this type of stuff, but i can't.

To be completely honest, I don't like it.

The picture has too much going on, it's too busy for my liking. It could give me a headache if I stared at it too long. (But, hey, anything could)

I would have never known that in the blue it said '07. I thought that it was a random scribbly.
