We are trying all new resturaunts this trip and wondered how they are. I made the ADR's at 180 days and I'm not changing any but wanted to know about other peoples experiences.

These are the TS

Tony's Town Square MK
Biergarten EPCOT
Teppaykia(?) EPCOT
50'2 Prime Time Cafe MGM
Lilo and Stitch POLY
Whispering Canyon Cafe WL

For CS I'm going to try

Tusker house or Flame Tree AK
?????? MGM
?????? EPCOT
Columbia Harbor House or Pecos Bill's MK

How about snacks???????

Any ideas will help. We are going in December.

THANKS

We dined at Whispering canyon and everyone had a good time!

Beiergarten DH and DS really enjoyed themselves I on the otherhand was not over the moon about it.

Flame tree we did try also and everyone enjoyed equally! SOrry thats all I got on your picks hope it helps!

First let me say I admire someone who can try all new places. Its so hard. Good for you! :thumbsup2

Japan in Epcot was a blast. My girls had a great time watching the chef. The food was good, this was our first time in a this type place. Most people have one in thier hometown they frequent, but not us so we had a great time along with good food.

50's Prime Time, a must try at least once. Food was OK, if you get a great server, it makes tons o fun. Ours was such a crack up.

Lilo and Stitch was the absolute best character interaction we have ever had. Stitich is so much fun. We had the earliest ADR possible, so he came to our table multiple times. Food is standard breafast type fare, word of caution, its hard doing the parks after eating those Micky waffles. :lmao:

WCC, great food, and again if you get a great server, it just makes it all that much better. We did NOT have one, broke my heart. I know its to be expected, Its just hard watching other people get fun stuff, like napkin hats, big jars of coke etc... and my girls watching it then they look at you, and what can I do? You can't make your server do anything, but maybe he should get another serving job somewhere else??:sad2:

Tusker House is my FAvorite! Great selection, and A/C make a big difference if you are there in July! or hot temps!

Epcot has so many great CS places, it hard to go wrong!

MGM, you are better off licking the sidewalk, no just kidding. Backlot Express is acceptable if you have absolutely no other place to go in all of WDW!

Columbia Harbor House is a must do for their Tuna Sandwich. Wow! I'm not a big fan of tuna, but theirs is GREAT! YUMYUM. The bread is a delicious multigrain lightly toasted!!!Great for a light lunch or light Dinner because you ate to much during Breakfast or Lunch !

I think Columbia Harbor House is pretty good food...Pecos is good too, but I think you have more options at Columbia.

We love everywhere except Whispering Canyon and O"hana's (because we've never been there). Enjoy! :)

we ate at the lilo & stitch character breakfast at ohana's just a couple of weeks ago, and the food was wonderful (scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes, bacon, sausage, mickey waffles, pineapple bread, cinnamon raisin bread, biscuits & fresh fruit) and so was the character interaction. it was my DD's 9th birthday, so she got a birthday cupcake, 2 white lei's and a card making her an official "cousin".

whispering canyon cafe was really good as well-the chicken isn't boneless, which made it rather difficult to eat (i don't, as a rule, eat any type of meat off the bone, usually only boneless chicken breast, so this is JMHO) but my DH loved the pulled pork in the skillet. he was also surprised with a giant coke, hehe. we got a good laugh when the waitress said "here's your straws and napkins" then proceeded to throw a handful of each at us, lol.

biergarten was probably the least satisfying of the ones i've mentioned so far-really all we ate was the pork schnitzel, which was good, but not what we're used to-the pork tenderloins aren't beaten paper thin, like they are in my mom's recipe, which came from a military wife who spent several years in germany in the late 70's, so we THOUGHT is was authentic, lol.

pecos bill's was pretty good-we got the pulled pork sandwich-yum! we've also eaten at flame tree bbq before, and enjoyed it as well.

the liberty inn at the american adventure in epcot's ws served a decent lunch-just burgers and fries, etc., but the employees were really nice and we enjoyed the colonial atmosphere.

one NOTE: if you like your meat well done, please don't be afraid to ask for it, even at a buffet; the meat carver will happily slice some off for you and throw it back on the fire.

We've eaten at 50's prime time twice....the best is the fried chicken....DO NOT get the meatloaf. We went with my parents the 2nd time and my dad got the meatloaf....he was so scared that they would yell at him that he ate the whole thing even though it was disgusting!! It is a fabulous time though...I got yelled at because I didnt eat my peas....and they made everyone in the room make and airplane noise to try and get me to eat them!! It is an excellent time!! The poly breakfast was also great!! It's all you can eat and they are sure you can't stuff one more waffle down before they stop bringing the food. It was my DD 13th birthday so she got a card and a cupcake too!! Although she couldn't eat the cupcake...because she was soooo full!! Good luck with the rest...those are the only ones that we have tried on your list!! Have FUN!!

Teppaykia(?) EPCOT been about 2 yrs, but loved it. Fun, food was good
Whispering Canyon Cafe WL Yummy if you like bbq, a really fun place

For CS I'm going to try

Tusker house or Flame Tree AK If you like bbq, flame tree is soooo good!
Columbia Harbor House or Pecos Bill's MK
Our family LOVES columbia HH. Great counter food. You can eat healthier there if you'd like. Miss the bread bowls.

How about snacks???????
Snacks?? Holy cow, there have been whole threads done about snacks!!

Just our recommendations! I think it's great you are trying new places!

Biergarten is one of our favorite restaurants! The food is wonderful and we enjoy the show.

Teppanyaki is like any other Japanese restaurant....nothing special there and we will not go back only because we can get the same food locally

Love 50's Prime Time..the fried chicken plate is wonderful!

CS at MK we enjoy Cosmic Rays, the chicken caesar is huge and delicious

CS at Epcot we stumbled across Tangerine Cafe and it is a new fav for us. The olive salad is so flavorful.

Tony's Town Square MK
We like Tony's, but if we don't eat there, we're okay with that. It's nothing to write home about, but it's not bad either.

Biergarten EPCOT
This is the one that hubby always wants to do and I never want to do. I see that many like it and I know one day I'm going to have to give in.

Teppanyaki EPCOT
This is one we visit each and every time. IMO, a must do! Of course, we have no Benihanas in our area. I guess I can see how those that do might pass this one by.

50'2 Prime Time Cafe MGM
I wasn't crazy about the 50s PT. I like the concept, but it's so dependent on who your cousin is. Food? Well, I don't go on vacation to eat pot roast, meat loaf, or fried chicken (though will suffer thru the chicken at the Hoop Dee Doo).

Lilo and Stitch POLY
Never ate here.

Whispering Canyon Cafe WL
Never ate here either. One day we'll get around to this one.

Tusker house or Flame Tree AK
We like the Flame Tree.
