Opinions please

We are having a 10am wedding at Sunset point. I figure at the lastest we will be done around noon. We are not having any guests attend the ceremony. Later that night we are having an Illuminations dessert party.

My question is what should me and hubby do in the time between the two events,we will have about 8 hours?? I know we will probably be tired and hungry so we will want to get some rest. I was thinking about having private dining come to our room and set up a lunch for just the two of us so we can relax and eat and just enjoy each other. We will be at the GF so we are thinking maybe we should just eat there or have tea or???? I don't know. What should we do with the rest of our time???? I don't think we should really go to a park because my hair will probably get messed up and I will be putting back on my gown later that evening.

I think the room service idea is cute. It will give you a chance to relax. You could also make a reservation at a restaurant that isn't so packed for lunch like the Grand Floridian Cafe. If you decide to go to a park, you can always just walk around the World Showcase..your hair prolly won't get messed up doing that. Hope that helps a little

Private Dining at GF is a great idea.

I have not read a single bad thing about GF private dining. I'm looking into getting a room there so we can possibly have an in-room reception after our Sunset Pointe intimate because of all the good things I've read.

Just from my experience (and I don't have anything to compare it to!) private dining is wonderful. After our Intimate we didn't have a dinner or anything with the guests, we went to our room and had a private dinner and just spent time alone. Since we hadn't been alone up till that point for the previous 4 days it was really nice to not have other people around. It was very romantic Just walking around GF is nice too, the shops and the lobby. It will be a nice and quiet time for the two of you before you have to get all dressed up again and "entertain" at the dessert party. Enjoy yourself!!

I think having private dining and then resting and walking around the world showcase sounds nice and relaxing. Especially since we will be having our Illumiantions party later that evening it will be neat to see the spot in the daytime and know we will be there later celebrating.

Boy this is going to be a LONG day. We have our MK bridal session the same morning!! Oh well it will be worth it in the end.

I absolutely LOVE the idea of having lunch set up for the two of you in your hotel room... If you have a balcony I say to set it up out there... Enjoy the time being husband and wife.... Great idea...
