Opinions please...Where to eat?

Fan2CSkr,
YOu asked about the Latin Quarter. I have eaten there several times and enjoyed it. They have the best salsa and chips!!!
Mythos is still my favorite though!

The children's menu includes: kid's hamburger or cheeseburger w/ fries, corn and a drink; apple jack chicken fingers w/ fries, corn and drink; ham and cheese wrap w/ home-made chips, corn and drink; dueling dragons cheese pizza (half cheddar, half mozz) w/ drink; 1 fish, 2 fish cheese ravioli w/ choice of sauce and drink. We also have a kid's banana split for desert.

My personal favorites are the Balsamic Chicken (it's the only entree that's been on the menu since day 1), the Risotto of the day ('m a risotto nut!) and our new Flat IRon Steak. The Flat iron is a rediscovered cut of bef; it happens to be the second most tender cut of beef second only to the filet tenderloin. Since it's from the chuck area, it's got great flavor. IT is pan seared to your desired doneness, served w/ blackbean cheddar mash, sauteed spinach, sherry demi glace, mojito sauce, spanish olive salsa and fried boniata. GOOD EATS.

Hope to see you soon! :)

I love balsamic chicken! It is also my sons favorite, so he will be happy! I'm already salivating over the steak.

gschmerl,

Could you tell me what you ate at Latin Quarter? Do they have a show there? Is this place okay for kids or a better option for an adult night out? Thanks! :)

TheSecondCook,

Thank You for the details! Kids meals sound great. I guess I need to eat there 3 times since all 3 entree you mentioned appeal to me! Risotto is one of my favorites. The flat steak sounds interesting. I can hardly wait to dine here:)

The Flat Iron sounds wonderful.... wow!

For lumch at the Latin Quarter, I've had the Cuban sandwich and it was great. Dinner, I've had Chilean Sea Bass (it was a special that night) and it was very good. I've also had the appetizer sampler as dinner. Also had a pork dish which was very good. Children should be able to find something to eat. When we were there a musician was playing several different instruments and was quite good, but no formal "show" going on.

Thanks gschmerl, we are going to have dinner here one night. The menu looked very good. Lots of choices I would like.

Hi. My husband and I ate at the Latin Quarter for dinner. We had a wondeful meal...I remember the appetizer the best..it was shrimp with a mango salsa. YUMMY!

We have also eaten at the NBA Cafe...the food is fantastic here. There were 12 of us (7 adults 5 kids) and everyone loved their food. Great selection of bar type food and more "fancier" meals (if you know what I mean). The kids had no trouble finding stuff they liked (kids menu or appetizers)

WE will be heading to PBH on Thursday and can't wait to try Mythos and the banana chocolate cake.

We'll let you know how it went when we get back.

flower,

Have a great trip and please give us all the details! Thanks for the info on Latin Quarter:)

Gotta go to MYTHOS !

Food is great, and here's another vote for the warm gooey chocolate banana cake.

Not only does it taste great, but the presentation is memorable.

has anyone tried motown-there menu sounds really good?
