Opinions please -our December schedule

I've been working on this schedule for so long that I can't even think straight So I would like to get some other expert opinions - here it is:

Saturday, 12/03 - arrive late afternoon Hilton DTD (swim and/or sleep)
Sunday, 12/04 - relax during the day (which means me - shopping, DH -swimming/sleeping) MVMCP at night
Monday, 12/05 - timeshare presentation 10:30 , rest of day relaxing/shopping or maybe a trip to the beach??

OK, now the fun really begins

Tuesday, 12/06 - Check into Poly Epcot (lunch - counter service and dinner - Le Cellier)
Wednesday, 12/07 - MK (Breakfast- CP, lunch - counter and dinner - Cindy's)
Thursday, 12/08 - MGM (breakfast & lunch - counter and dinner - Fantasmic package )
Friday, 12/09 - Breakfast at Kona, AK and Epcot (lunch - ???? and dinner - 'Ohana)
Saturday, 12/10 - MK (breakfast - Chef Mickey's, lunch & dinner - counter), leave for home

We will be there during Pop Warner week so we will definately be avoiding MGM on Friday at all costs! We may stay over until Sunday but we'll have to see.

So, what do all y'all think?

Sounds good. We will be there the same time but staying at the CSR. Also will be staying clear of the Pop Warner Crowd that is for sure.

Yikes! We arrive on the 8th and had plannned MGM for Friday since my dh's Dad and sister won't arrive until noon on the 9th and we thought that's the park he wouldn't mind missing. Are they closing early again this year for the Pop Warner crowd's party? Back to the drawing board I guess!

wht a wonderful time to be at WDW! The Christmas decorations without the crowds.

We're going mid January and it just won't be the same. Hope you have a wonderful/magical visit!

I think your schedule looks great! Only thing I would've done differently is MVMCP on Tuesday. A girlfriend who lives in FL gave me this advice when we went in December 03. She said fewer locals attend the weeknight parties. The POLY!!!!!! How exciting. : Enjoy your trip.

I looked at last year's hours on Intercot and they did not close early. Closing was 8:00pm from Dec 1 to 20. I was there one year on the day of their party and it did get very crowded at the end of the day (after 4:00pm), I think they arrived early.

We were originally going to go to MVMCP on Tuesday but we can't get our MYW passes until we check into the Poly and we can't wait that long to get to the MK!!!

MVMCP will be the kids first time in MK and I think it will be really cool to see it that way first

MYW tickets don't get you into the MVMCP, it's a separately priced/ticketed event, so if you buy tickets for Tues. night, you could go then.

I completely agreee with that. I always post that I will never forget the snow on Main St. and if I was a kid...forget it, it would be implanted in my brain as one of "those memories". I had thought when I looked at your schedule that you may be wanting to get into MK before you got to your on property hotel(and got tickets). I bet Sunday will be awesome too. We loved riding the rides at night and I really enjoyed the parade. DH just isn't a parade guy though so lets not take his opinion into account on that one. Have a great trip and enjoy the party.

Oh, I know but thanks (I already bought ours with our Disney reward $). I just meant that since we were buying a ticket anyway, MVMCP is a cheaper option than buying a 1 day pass. We will take advantage of evening hours in the other parks and hopefully EMH in the MK on Wednesday.

Hmmm... why do you have to avoid MGM on Friday?? Does Pop Warner have something going on there that day??

From what I understand, that has been their big gathering day and has closed early for them historically. (I'm not trying to imply anything about them or their beahvior. We are avoiding it due to the crowd(s).)
