Hi all!
I need opinions on which hotel to book for a last minute trip to DLP in November! We've stayed at the Dream Castle and loved it. The family room was good sized at Dream Castle and our little ones loved the bunk beds. The outside playground was a little too "large" for our 4 year old and the inside "play area" lacked a bit. We liked the full breakfast (filled us so well we almost skipped eating the rest of the day). We also liked the pool, but it wasn't exactly what I would called "heated". We've looked at prices and it would be a little cheaper to stay at the Kyriad or Explorers (would like to stay at Holiday Inn, but quite a bit pricier). Has anyone stayed at more than 1 of these and could tell me what they think? Does the Kyriad or Explorers have a pool that is actually warm? (Dream Castle boardered on frigid). How are the play areas? Since we know it's going to be quite cold at the end of November, we want to make sure our 4 year old can be kept semi-busy at the hotel. Any and all input would be great appreciated!

Hi I have only been to the Explorers and have returned a few times. The play area for the kids is fantastic. There is a pirate ship which they can climb on and explore,a room with ball pool and soft play and 2 rooms full of various arcade games.

The family rooms are a decent size with a double bed and two single beds. There is a bathroom and separate toilet. The room also has tea and coffee supplies, hairdryer and safe.

The swimming pool has a pirate themed slide and a larger dragon slide.I havent been in the pool but my DH has complained that it was slightly chilly but when we stayed at the Holiday Inn he complained their pool was also cold.

Hope this helps

Have you had a look on Last Minute. com? They have the holiday inn pretty cheap! we'e staying for 3 nights in Dec for £129 total.

Thanks for all the info! Keep it coming!

Lady & The Tramp: Thanks for the tip on the Holiday Inn. I checked lastminute.com and couldn't get the Holiday Inn at DLP to come up (the only Holiday Inn that came up was the Holiday Inn Versaille). What did you put in for the search? I would love to stay at the Holiday Inn at DLP, but on Expedia, it's coming up more than any of the others.
Thanks,
Jacque'

I haven't stayed atthe explorers but I have stayed at the Kyriad. It is used (or was when we were there) as a base for british school trips and we were kept awake by teenagers (aren't english teenagers pleasant!!) shouting, running and slamming doors until well into the early hours. And complaints to reception went unoticed. Needless to say I'm sure the teachers were on the other side of the hotel. There is no play area or swimming pool at the kyriad but breakfast is plentiful (if a bit basic). I wouldn't stay there again. The little saving that you make doesn't make up for the problems. The rooms are nice though, very "Brie" in style.

clcik on the hotels section then i just typed in disneyland paris in the 'city or postcode' box, i then sort it by price! When are you going and for how long?
I just did a quick random search for 25th nov for 3 nights and this came up with hol inn disneyland paris as £203 total. Explorers is £270 and Dreamcastle £283 for the same dates. I think mine was cheaper as im going mon-wed and these dates inc a weekend!
