Help me out, please?

I am getting married in an intimate ceremony at WDW in December '06, and I need a little advice. I am trying to decide between Sunrise Terrace at Wilderness Lodge, or SeaBreeze Point. It's a small wedding, so either will work. I am really thinking more of which is prettier, etc.

Anyone seen these locations in person--or otherwise have any opinions? Let me know ASAP because I really need to tell my planner.

Thanks!

How small is small?

If it is under 10 people Sunrise terrace is an amazing location!

if mine were smaller we would definately be going with Wilderness Lodge!

They are all really beautiful. If I really wanted to go with a deep romance and rustic feel I'd go with the WL terrace :cloud9:

Now, if you're having over 10 then your decision is made and Seabreeze would be absolutely lovely. Really you can't go wrong it just depends on your tastes.

ETA: I keep getting the place at POLY and the WL confused and made a whoopise...sorry

I am getting married at the Wilderness Lodge. My WP said that this is the resort that is decorated the nicest for the holiday.

Best wishes to you!

I am biased because we were married at WL Sunrise Terrace! We thought it was the most breathtakingly beautiful location ever! Seabreeze Pointe was actually our second choice. We preferred WL because of the beauty, and because we wanted a more private location. SBP is gorgeous, but it is right out on the Boardwalk and other resort visitors can just walk by and watch. We didn't want that, although some brides love the attention and that's a personal choice. I lived in Orlando during our planning, so we visited all the sites and when we saw Sunrise Terrace we knew that was the one, and felt it more and more every time we visited.

If you'd like to see our wedding pictures, please PM me :goodvibes

FormrCastMbr - when is your wedding? I cannot believe we are coming up on our 1-year anniversary - time flies!!

Thanks to all that have responded! Jen, I sent you a PM.

The wedding is smaller than 10, so Sunrise Terrace would work--so it's not a question of that. My main concern is just overall atmosphere.

FmrCastMembr, I wish my dang WP would offer even that much information. I am sorry to say she has been ZERO help in planning. She offers no information at all, beyond the very basic. I can get more info off the web sites. I realize they are busy, but sheesh. So far I am underwhelmed with her help. When is your wedding? Ours is 12/14.

When I looked at pics of WL, it certainly didn't look romantic. It looks like there's a lounge there, and then you get married out on the balcony. There are these faux-looking wood beams. It may be better looking in person, but I like the Seabreeze Point. It's on the water, and I like the ambiance of it. It's really up to you and what you like. The website that TinkBride suggested is great if you want to look at pictures of all the intimate locations. Your wedding will be great no matter where you have it.
