Opinions on WL Concierge

We have reservations at CR in a garden wing room but we have always wanted to try conceirge. I called CR and their price was out of our budget (CM quoted DH a price of $540/night) Today I decided to call about concierge at AKL (sold out) and then checked at WL. They have availability for our stay of 5/29-6/05 for $360 per night. Since I haven't ever stayed at this hotel, or concierge, I was just looking for some opinions about it. Thanks in advance.

I just plugged your dates in at travelocity and concierge is available at the AKL for $380.00 per night. There is also availability thru the Disney website, the price is more, but you could try calling again and using the code.

Did you try using code BBY for the WL Concierge.

I was quoted a rate today of $285 per nt.

I doubt the code is available because it is Memorial Day weekend but it may be available for some of your dates and you could do 2 reservations.

We have stayed at WL Concierge and really enjoy it.

Thanks for all of the advice everyone!
Had DH call back last night and AKL IS available during our stay. I have no idea why the first CM I talked to said it was not. Anyway, he asked for prices for AKL, Poly and WL conceirge using the code. He was quoted $380/night for AKL, $340/night Poly (garden not lagoon) and $285/night for WL. Now we need to decide which conceirge to go with. I have already changed our reservations several times (applied the code, switched resorts etc) so I wasn't sure if it was acceptable to call back and do this again. When they pull us up on the computer all I can picture is them rolling their eyes and thinking "not HER again!" lol

HI. I've changed my reservation FOUR times. Like you, I added codes, changed resorts, then finally added two more nights! They really don't mind... Just be real sweet, tell them how excited you are about getting to come... talk alot. Then be sure to ask for the cast member praise line ( i can't remember the real name but they'll know what you are talking about) you can leave a recorded message about the person who helped you change your ressie. They love that.
I finally switched to DreamsUnlimited because I was getting during my busy time at work and couldn't spend all the time necessary in research. It's a nice service, but you still have to know what you want! I have a terrible time making up my mind.
I would LOVE to stay at the AKL. I tried to split my stay between the WL and AKL and couldn't make the numbers work with my visa kids go free package. Maybe your answer would be to split your stay. It's like having two vacations. Two totally different resort themes with WORLD CLASS service!! Sounds great to me!

what is the BBY code???

The BBY code is a discount code put out by Disney.

Just mention the code when you call and the CM will be able to tell you if there are rooms available with the code for the time you want to go.

ONZ is also a code. It is pretty much the same as BBY. You can also book online using this code (WL Concierge, for some reason, doesn't appear for booking online, you have to call Disney.)

For example, The rate for WL Concierge May 21 for 3 nts. is $385 per nt.

The rate using the BBY code is $285 per night plus tax.

Just tried the BBY and ONZ for AKL Concierge - not available for our trip the last week of April, but the CM suggested we could try again closer to departure. I'll keep my fingers crossed. : ) .

WOW....Thanks for saving me hundreds! I just changed my reservation from the CB to the Poly and used the code BBY. I am paying only 244 a night versus the origional 383. What a great tip. Thanks again!

Thanks for the heads up on the available discount. I had reservations for a standard room at the WL, there were no more availabilities on the BBY code when I initially called. When I saw your post, I figured we may as well spend a little more and go concierge. Thanks!

I thought everyone knew about it. It did look like some more rooms opened up with that particular code recently.

Yeah, there must have been some cancellations, because I had tried the code before (a few times ), so I was glad to see that there was availability.
