Our next trip to Disney is with my Mom and this will be her 1st trip to WDW. After finding out about this tea time I thought it would be so much fun to have tea with her and also with my two girls (will be 9 & 11) at trip. I just think Grandmom would really enjoy something like this. If my husband came too...would he feel out of place. Tea is not usually his thing but he would like to be there with the rest of the family.

Anyone who's gone, taken their husbands, boyfriends, etc...I would love to hear from you. :flower:

Thanks in advance!!

My husband and I been several times. He won't feel out of place at all. I think you will all have a great time!

I have not gone with my husband, but last year my family went and my 22 year old son went along, he enjoyed it.

I LOVE to go to this, and drag my DH along if we're traveling alone and he seems to enjoy it (and the sparkling wine that comes with the Grand Tea selection!)

Oh and one time I saw all the little ones heading in to attend the "Perfectly Princess Tea" (all dressed in their costumes, so cute!), and thought that looked like a wonderful time if you had some little girls - though I've read it is VERY expensive $$$$...but what a wonderful memory of a real tea party with your mom and the princesses!

My husband goes because he loves me. :flower3: It's not his favorite activity--in fact I think he'd rather clean the bathroom. But he's a good sport. He gets beer and pound cake. :rotfl2: :confused3 But it makes it tolerable for him.

While it's generally 90% or more women, there are men there, and the CM's seem to work hard at making them feel welcome.

I love Tea at the GF. My DH is not a tea drinker so they brought him a pot of coffee and he gamely ate the little sandwiches. To his surprise, he really enjoyed it! I hope you have a wonderful time. :sunny:

Thank you so much for your replies. I'm really looking forward to it and think my Mom will love it!! My hubbie is real easy going so I'm sure he will be fine about going. Thanks again!

My DH loved having tea at the GF. But then again he's the tea drinker and I'm the coffee drinker. You can also have Iced tea. :flower:
