I'm looking at this camera. I really want the 10x zoom because a lot of my photos are at music festivals and from a distance. Does anyone have any other suggestions for a camera with mega zoom that is under $300ish? Thanks!

I have this camera and for a point and shoot I love it!! I got it on Amazon for less than $200! Just added it to my cart and watched it for awhile and one day the price finally dropped and I bought it!

I have been watching this one too for my April trip. However, they are releasing a TZ4 and TZ5 in March/April. The biggest improvement (for me) is that the new versions will zoom in/out when taking video. I like having that option.

With those being released, the TZ3 may come down in price.

I have this camera and I love it for P&S. Use it in smart mode; it's so easy to use. I don't recall which OIS is better; there are 2 to pick from. I set mine using the recommendations in the manual I believe and haven't touched it since. The better one is the one in which the photo may not look in focus when seeing through the LCD, but as soon as you hit the shutter it focuses and gets the shot. I don't recall having any pics that didn't come out when I went to China last year and used this camera. It's cheap, smart and good enough for a P&S.:cheer2:
