We are kind of disappointed knowing they changed the menu and took the "shrimp skewers" out and replaced it with something else. There are 10 of us and half of our group has never been before. I always bragged how great the food is, I just hope it stands up to what I've told them...

Keep in mind we've never eaten there before but picky DH LOVED the place last week! In fact, we all loved it. The potatoes: very good... but there was no rice dish on our table (I saw one on another table though). All the meat was excellent (turkey, sausage, steak and.... I can't remember the other one if there was another). The veggies were very good. The desert was just okay - not really our cup of tea. There was also peel and eat shrimp which are always good. DH loved the steak and I loved the turkey the best. Good luck!

We thought it was pretty good, steak really good but rare! The other meats were overcooked. Did not like the sausage. Shrimp was good, I liked the wings but DH thought they were too sweet, I could do without the sesame seeds on them. Bread pudding was okay.

We ate there last Monday and thought it was really good. The shrimp skewers were replaced with sausage. But, they still had shrimp. They just brought it out in a dish marinated (still peel and eat). The chips were good at the beginning - the wontons were mixed in with the chips. I LOVED the cheese and onion potatoes - VERY tasty. I did miss the green beans, though. Ohana's is still my favorite Disney restaurant - even with the changes.

O'Hana's isn't in our food rotation for this trip so I guess we'll have to try it next year. The potatoes sound good but I will miss the green beans. The shrimp is still there which will make DH happy but I am bummed about the pineapple and caramel being taken away! Didn't they take the bread away too? I LOVED that bread!

Well, Garden Grill came back to life after a brief change, mabe they'll tweak O'Hana's menu some more too.

'Ohana (note the spelling;)) doesn't get anybody raving about their steak or pork...Yes they're quite good, but the shrimp had a VERY, VERY loyal following as did the wontons. I'm sure the changes will be fine for many but there will also be many NOT looking forward to going back. Why change something that's working so well?

What's the best way to relay your disappointment with the menu change? Is there an email address that we can use? This has been a family must do for years, but now with all the changes, we are reconsidering our Christmas Eve reservation - DS is a rice lover/potato hater and I am sure no one in my family will eat the bread pudding....although we all loved the pineapple and carmel sauce (had extra in June). The sausage is not something we will be eating either and I am not sure about the vegies, although I was the only one who ate the green beans anyway......overall very disappointing changes for this group.

Well I have eaten there, just last week. And I had eaten there in 2000.

I do not like having to peel my shrimp for dinner. It's crude when you're trying to have a nice dinner - but fine for the local pub with some beers!, bothersome, and makes your fingers stink.

I liked the fried wonton thingies with the sauces.
I liked the scalloped potatoes with onions dish.
I liked the salad.

The meats were awful. They tried twice, but both skewers of pork and poultry were undercooked - raw in the middle, although browned nicely on the outside. The steak was tough. I do not like sausages. So I had extra wontons and salad and potatoes.

The pineapple bread pudding dessert was AWESOME. Would love to find a recipe for it online somewhere. It was served warm, with ice cream, and a hot bananas foster sauce poured over it.

Just dip your fingers in your beer. Takes the smell away.
