We are doing a big, 2 months family trip in april/may. Well, we leave in a week..
I have doubts on the California-itinerary part of our trips....
Here it is:
We are from Quebec and driving to California, plan to visit some places in Colorado and Arizona on the way.
So after Grand Canyon we want to go to Joshua Tree NP, with maybe a little stop in Lake Havasu.
After JT we go to Anza-Borrego ST then San Diego. Stay in the area around a week, visiting town an Legoland.
Then we are going to LA, stay around 5 days visiting, then Anaheim for another 5 days (Disneyland)
* We are doing LA before because I though it would be better to do Disneyland the first week of may instead of the last of april*
Then take the highway1 to San Francisco, making 2 overnights stops at Pismo Beach and Big Sur.
Visit SF for 5-6 days then go to Yosemite for 3-4 days.
This is the part I am most unsure about:
After Yosemite, make the detour to the west to do Kings/Sequoia for 4 days,
then another detour to the south to Death Valley then Las Vegas.
Last portion of the trip, visiting some of Utah's NP.
Any advice on this crazy trip are welcome!
Especially if there is another easier way to visit Yosemite-Kings/Sequoia/Death Valley!!!
