Hi all,
Have booked the outgoing leg of our trip at the end of August as it was very cheap.
However,I couldn't arrange the return journey as Eurostar don't go direct on Tuesday 1st September(despite the timetable saying it does).
So I need some advise on how to get home please!
Option 1 is to get the RER to Gare du Nord then the Eurostar from there.
Option 2 is the TGV to Lille.
Has anyone done either and if so,how stress free was it?
TIA

option 2 is very easy, so I'd just wait for the indirect fare home to become available 12 weeks before travel, and book that.

Thank you :)
Does it work out roughly the same price to book the indirect through Eurostar rather than book the TGV and Eurostar separately?
Also,is there more than one train time or is it one a day like the direct service?
Have a very vague recollection of returning via Lille once many, many years ago and it was all booked as a package and have only been direct both ways on every other visit,so any assistance is very much appreciated :)

its more expensive if you book the tgv and eurostar separately.
there is more than one indirect service per day eurostar from lille to UK, unlike the direct service. You should be able to see that part of the fare (lille to UK on eurostar) 6 months ahead of travel, so it will give you an idea of times etc you might be leaving the parks.

Great.
Thanks for your help :)
