Opinions on Grosvenor Resort ???

Has anyone stayed at the Grosvenor Resort? How is the transportation, is the location bad? Is it worth getting the Tower room facing Disney to see the fireworks?

Thanks we are still trying to figure out what hotel to stay at for our suprise end of August trip.

You will get strong opinions from those who love it and those who hate it! DH and I really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was bigger than any Disney resort we had stayed in - fridge in room too. What we liked best was the location - it's right across the street from DD. After a day in the parks, we walked over to Ghiradelli's for an ice cream cone. The bus schedule was adequate and the busses were coaches, much nicer than the regular Disney busses. The only drawback to the Hotel Plaza Blvd. busses is that you are dropped off in the parking lot (near the front) instead of the entrance. No big deal though.
