Hi, what does every1 think of Cap n Jacks, we love Pirates of the Carribean, is the restruant based on that movie at all? How is the food? Is it worth it to go? Thanks
It has nothing to do with the movie. We ate there on 9/1 it was good. But now I just read where another poster said no more lobester and that's why we went there.
The best thing there was the twin lobster tail which is off the menu as of Oct 1st. This was the only reason we ever ate there. We have ADRs there for our December trip but I am in the process of changing it to somewhere else.
We were there last week. DD and I both got the twin lobster tails. I didn't think they were all that great, in fact they weren't any different from getting them at Red Lobster IMO. Dh had the salmon and he said it was pretty good. Of all the places we ate, Cap N Jacks was one of our least favorites.

I've never been, but from what I have seen on here, it does not appear to be that high of quality. I remember seeing pics of the food, and it looked so, IDK what I want to say, boring maybe? Like they just slopped the food on the plate with no concern for presentation or originality.
I guess on the DDP it was a good deal b/c of the lobster?
We ate there in January and to be very honest, we were not very impressed with the menu or the food. We will not be visiting again during our November trip. I personally feel that there are better places onsite to get seafood, with better atmosphere. We did enjoy Cap'N Jack's the first time we dined there years ago, but it just was not the same quality during our last visit.
Decor/theme is nothing of Pirates of the Caribbean. It sits on the water but IMO it's awful. The food is all microwaved and rubbery. I've been there twice and will not be going back!
