Opinions on Boardwalk nightclubs?

With Pleasure Island closing in September, I'm on the hunt for somewhere that the bridal party can hang out and have some fun. Does anyone have any opinions on the clubs at the Boardwalk? Any we should stay away from, or specifically visit? Honestly, the only place I've been there is the bakery.

we're having an after-party there the night of our wedding too! There is a cover charge, but there is also one at PI, so its a wash. JellyRolls is our favorite night spot at Disney. SO much fun! Get there early to grab a table down on the floor!

Oh..and request "Baby Got Back"

ps~ if you like fruity drinks, ask for a "Sweet Emotion". They only have them there...they taste like the candy "Sour Straws"! yummers! And try to get Luke as your server...he is AMAZING!

we get there by 8-8:30, and the floor is usually almost full at that point. Get there any later most nights and you won't get a table. After 10pm the whole place gets packed.

How old do you have to be to get in Jelly Rolls?

My niece is 19 just want to know if she could come there with us or if it over 21's?

I actually like the fact that its 21 and up. To be honest, its a small place..and there are a LOT of 18-20yr old locals that currently go to PI. If they were allowed into JR it would be WAY over crowded. And it already takes a little while to get a drink some times...if they had to check everyone's ID at the bar it would take forever! The atmosphere is geared towards an older audience (25-45ish). So I like the age restriction. I DONT like the fact that even with a Premium AP you have to pay a cover fee...but it IS an outside company..not owned by Disney..so I guess it makes sense.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but back in the day when I was under 21 I believe that the only 2 clubs I could go in (if accompanied by my parents / a 21 or over) were the Comedy Warehouse and the Adventurer's Club - this could have changed though, so wait for someone to confirm this before you take my word for it

As long as she is 18 or older, she can go into any club Sunday-Thursday.
Friday & Saturday nights you have to be 21+ to go to BET or Mannequins

Thats how is used to be when i checked, I would just check it on the WDW website

What's the best way to get from the BW clubs back to other resorts and close? Cab it?

DF and i always take a cab when we go to JR (if we're not staying around the lake there)

The place closes at 2am, so buses usually aren't running at that time, so cabs are your only route. Just make sure you have cash, some cabs won't take cc.
