Definitely Charlotte and Henry. I personally think both "flow" beautifully with Darcy and have an amazing classic feel. And for those who use nicknames, Charlie would be so adorable for Charlotte. Maria is also nice.

I like Charlotte, and call her Charlie. Michael for a boy. DH middle name and DFIL's first name was Henry, I am sorry but I just don't like that name.

Wow was I ever wrong! I thought it was a dying out name! Oh well, there goes Michael.

I am biased, but my oldest son is named Michael, and his name continues to be my most favorite boy name. It is a classic and strong name. And for the last 3 years, he has been the only Michael in his class. Oh, and although not an angel, he's a wonderful kid

Same here. You will probably run into more Henry's in his class than Michael's even if Michael is a "popular" name.

I like both girls names, Charlotte being a pretty popular name around here. I am not a fan of Henry at all.

Do you have middle names picked out? If not Charlotte Maria Darcy would be nice and so would Michael Henry Darcy (although Michael Henry sounds like it should have the third behind it!).

I agree with this - the names sound lovely when combined this way.

I have always loved the name Michael, and Michael Henry flows nicely. Charlotte Maria is beautiful too.

Must disagree with a PP though, cannot nickname the child "Charlie", only because I would constantly be reminded of Charlie and Maverick in "Top Gun". Don't get me wrong, I LOVE that movie, but I simply cannot look at an innocent baby and hear "take me to bed or lose me forever" in my mind...

It's funny how the same name can evoke different pictures in different minds. I never even thought of that allusion to Charlie. I was thinking of the cute little girl from "Good luck Charlie" on Family Channel (my dds watch it all the time). If that's what it reminds you of, I see your point.

I like either of the girls names equally but would choose Henry over Michael any day. I have known four Michaels in my life and they were all quite awful. I'm sure they aren't ALL awful, there must be a few good Michaels somewhere but...I just wouldn't risk it if I were naming a son

me too!!! All the Michaels I have ever known were horrible! and even if that weren't the case, I would definitely vote for Henry. I love that name.

And I like Charlotte too!

My DH is a Michael and there are a lot of them that are his age and older. Even if it's still on the popular names list, I do not know any Michael's that are my kids' ages and younger. I do know several young Henrys though.
