You didn't say if you were on the Wonder or the Magic. But I would speculate that they are both the same. I have never been on the Magic and just had my first cruise.
I was in room 7501 on Wonder on May 16th for a 4 day cruise. On that first day you can feel the ship moving because they speed it to Nassau. I have heard so many people on this board say that you can't feel it. But boy did we feel it (it was my mother's 4th
Disney Cruise and she always felt it the first day) In bed it flipped me over to the other side. Plus while walking through the halls I have felt it. Even in the center of the ship. I would not advise booking a Palo reservation for the first day on a 4 day cruise. We did and I got sick even though I have taken Bonnie for 3 days straight prior to the cruise (arrived at Florida before the cruise). Our waiter said he hates the first day because of the high speed. (BTW, do not order the seafood soup from Palo. Extremely salty. And I am not a finky eater at all. After I left the waiter had told my mother that I should not have order the seafood soup if I was seasick. She told him (which was true) that I was fine till I arrived at Palo (10th floor back of ship).
In regards to sleeping 4 I think you can. I slept in the bed with my mother (wide enough for us to be on opposite ends), there is a couch and a pull down bed from the ceiling over the couch. Plus we had two bathrooms (one with sink and shower and the other with sink and toilet).
What is cool for that area is that when you have to go to deck 4 with your life jackets you get to go through the crew area. Plus I have seen the captain come and go a few times through that area.
The laundry room is little bit of a walk from the cabin but okay.
Also you can take an elevator or use the stairs (really the stairs are not that bad) to go up two flights for the Walt Disney Theater to see the show.
Go to
Disney Cruise Line website and order the DVD. It comes with an active map you can scroll through. Much better than the VHS tape. If you don't have a DVD then this is a good excuse to buy one.
