Opinions on 1TS Resort DDP Options

Hi all,

We are headed down in about 3 weeks, and will have one evening without the kids for dinner. DW would like to have a nice meal away from the parks, but would like to use only 1 credit.

Would love to hear your opinions on the best 1TS meals at WDW.

Any preference as to which resort? I personally love the Grand Floridian Cafe. The menu is great and afterwards you two can stroll the marina and see the Electrical Water Pageant float by.

Portobello at Downtown Disney is also another favorite!

I absolutely love The Grand Floridian Cafe! The food and atmosphere are wonderful and I can't wait to go back. Another bonus is that ADRs are usually easy to come by

Sanaa at AKL gets a lot of great reviews as well and you can always tour the resort after dinner.

It's not at a resort, but I really like Raglan Road in Downtown Disney. The food there is very good.

Since you mentioned wanting to get away from the parks, Trail's End at Fort Wilderness is one of our favorites. It is very close to the boat dock at Fort Wilderness and has great food (ribs, beef, corn, potatoes, etc.) served as a buffet. The food is exceptional, and it feels so much more secluded than the parks, despite being a short boat ride away from MK. While you're there, you can walk around and explore the area, see the horse stables, and even walk through the woods to Wilderness Lodge if you desire.
