Opinions of my new camera, please???

Hubby just bought me a new camera and since I have no clue when it comes to these types of things, I'd like your opinion. I basically only use my camera on vacations, school functions, around the house, etc. Nothing fancy. But I do like a nice clean photo since I do alot of scrapbooking. I've not used this camera so my opinions are just that, opinions.

The camera looks capable and seems to be a typical point & shoot camera. It's size is similar to other P&S' and has many of the same features. The only thing I see that would be on my wish list that is not on your camera would be a more powerful zoom. I am already spoiled by my wifes Canon S3 IS and it's ability to ZOOOOOOOM!!! (the S3 is not as small as your P&S so I'm comparing apples to bananas here)

One other thing, and I am not sure if this is a problem, but it looks like the memory card is proprietary. This would be a big issue for me. I want to be able to buy any memory card on the market to use in multiple devices if I need to. The price of a typical SD card is very cheap. The cards I see for your camera seems to be quite expensive. I may be mistaken here, so if anyone else can add to this, I'm sure OP would like to hear it.

The Sony memory is about twice as much as SD or CF, but it still is not really that bad when you buy from someone like Newegg.com or Buy.com.
