It has a large buffet with a good selection of food...The atmosphere is so calm for a character meal...The characters look so cute in their beach clothes...Overall, very good meal experience!

We have been about 6 times and the food is always great but we have had iffy service twice. I prefer to go at 8am or earlier because it is nice and quiet and relaxing....if you go later it can get pretty loud and crazy

I would prefer to go to Chef Mickeys or Crystal Palace because the food is great and you see more than 3 characters.

We are trying the buffet during our next trip. We haven't tried it before, but several friends have given it glowing recommendations. We have heard character interaction is super, and the food is pretty good too. We are actually going for a late breakfast (brunch) on the day we don't plan to visit any of the parks.

Having two small children 4 and under taught us to take a day off in the middle of our trip to just relax and chill out. We didn't do so last year, and we paid dearly for it.

We have eaten there every time we stay at the beach club and we like eating there. The buffet is good and the character interaction is great.

Hopefully my experience was just a bad day. Let's start with the positive - character interaction was great and service was pretty ok. The food?? Especially the eggs- repulsive. The selection wasn't as good as some of the other breakfast buffets (Crystal Palace, Boma), and the offerings they had just weren't done that well. We haven't gone back and I hate to judge a place based on one experience, but given the amount of places at WDW to try, I doubt we'll be back at CMC anytime soon.

My sis and I ate there this past spring and I really liked it! I'm going back this Dec and have an ADR for it again! Good food IMO and great characters! Minnie, Goofy and Donald all dressed in beach-y attire. Very fun!

We've been to Cape May Cafe breakfast 3 times now and have loved it every time. This past June, we were first to check in and got to be family of the day by ringing the bell to wake up the characters, getting seated at the table with the lighthouse, and getting a certificate saying Family of The Day. It was cool! The characters are Minnie, Goofy and Donald. About a year ago, they replaced Chip/Dale with Donald. The buffet is plentiful with lots of hot foods, cereals, breads/pastries and fruits. Our family has really enjoyed this breakfast and it is a must do every trip.

We had breakfast at Cape May last year and it was good food. Characters there were Mickey (I think), Minnie, Donald, Daisey, Goofy and maybe more. The place was very busy & many kids so it took quite awhile for the characters to get around to our table. I would go back again if in the area but probably wouldn't make a special trip for it.
