Opinions needed of these Restaurants..Please

Okay, my time is drawing ever near and I am still debating over a few restaurants.

Consequently you guys are my first port of call.

Any opinions on the following:

Planet Hollywood
Wolgang Pucks - CS & TS
ESPN
Tonys
Plaza
Turf Club
Bahama Breeze

Also, (I know I'm being cheeky now, but whilst I have your attention) any view on the following CS:

Artsist Pallet
Cosmic Rays
ABC Commissionary
Columbia House
Backlot Express

Bahama Breeze gets a thumbs up from me (especially DW)
Planet Hollywood not so much - we have been before and thought it was OK, but have never put it back on our list of things to go back to.

Don't know about the others - sorry

can answer some that are on your cs list.

cosmic rays, we all liked this one, great fixing bar for onions cheese sauce etc. but there is 4 different counters for the different foods ie counter 1, ribs and chicken, counter 2 burgers and hotdogs.

wolfgang puck express, best counter service we had, great menu, something for everyone even picky eaters. made a change to burgers, hot dogs etc that are served all over disney.

backlot express, not impressed with this one. found the food to cold and did'nt like the feel of the place.

Bahama Breeze - We had a great meal here towards the end of our recent trip. General advice is either to call ahead or arrive early as the wait times get quite long.

Artsist Pallet - Not bad but a very limited choice here. I think being at a DVC resort they expect you to have 'fast food' in the room rather than going out for it.

Cosmic Rays - Excellent. We traditionally eat here on our Spectromagic/Wishes night while enjoying the performance of Sonny Eclipse.

ABC Commissionary - Ate here a couple of years ago and it was OK, nothing special.

Columbia House - Another great one. I love their tuna sandwiches and, if it's available, go upstairs where it is a lot quieter.

Planet Hollywood - food good, service a bit hit and miss, also noisey!
Wolgang Pucks - CS & TS - TS was good food
ESPN - Great for wings, nachos etc and sport
Tonys - not been there
Plaza - not been there
Turf Club - good food and service
Bahama Breeze - popular with some different dishes

Also, (I know I'm being cheeky now, but whilst I have your attention) any view on the following CS:

Artsist Pallet - not alot of choice
Cosmic Rays - classic burgers
ABC Commissionary - not been there
Columbia House - great fish or chicken and chips with malt vinegar!
Backlot Express - standard burger bar

I've not eaten at any the TS restaurants that you mention but I can comment on 3 of the CS.

Colombia Harbour House - my favourite MK CS. It seemed a lot quieter than other places (DH didn't realise it was a restaurant from the outside)

Cosmic Rays - Always very busy when we've visited. Good menu but we weren't prepared to queue up a different places so limited our choices to only one counter.

Backlot Express - quite boring CS fare but I love the theming of this place. No problems getting somewhere to sit. (First year we went they did tuna mayo bagettes so we ate here every time we went to MGM as that is all DD would eat! - shame they're no longer on the menu.)

Here are my thoughts

Bahama Breeze - really like it here - good if you like cocktails, the chicken wings are really quite big & plenty to share!

WP - have done the cafe (TS) and the CS in DTD. Like both, but think the CS is really good value. You now order & they bring the food out to your table. You also get a 10% discount here if you have an AP.

Studios - have eaten at most of them and none are that good (sorry to say) - at Christmas we went to Starring Rolls for lunch and I think this is the best one for me.

Columbia House - really like it here for the Tuna sandwich. clam chowder (for DH) and chicken for (DD) - so a good all rounder for us! Also, you can get jacket potatoes from a stall not far away with sour cream and cheese, this makes a change to fries.

We have been to ESPN and my husband and daughter love it, it is not fancy food but you can get chicken wings, hot dogs and nachos. You get to watch all the sport going on and some tables have there own televisions and you can play games on the tv too. it is good fun and worth a try.

Wolfgang Pucks - CS: Excellent, probably one of the best value CS options on the dining plan IMHO.
Bahama Breeze: Again excellent, ate there in Vegas but if Orlando is as good then i'm sure you won't be disappointed
Cosmic Rays: Loved the burger and fixings bar here, and the bf speaks very highly of their veggie burger!
Columbia House: Ate there in 2005 as part of our KTTK tour and enjoyed it so much we went back, lovely sandwiches and veggie chilli.
ABC Commissary: Again ate there in 2005 but not particularly memorable, standard CS really neither good nor bad.

Wolfgang Puck Express is excellent value for money and the food there is lovely. It's also on a Disney Dining Plan as a CS, which makes it the best option by a mile for a CS on the DDP!

ABC Commisionary, bog standard and unappealing, wouldn't go there again.

Columbia House, Backlot Express and Cosmic Rays: all great places for a CS, no complaints there!
