We've never used the dinner package and all 3 times we've gone, we have gotten great seats. This last time a little over a week ago, we left Prime Time at 7:50 for an 8:30 showing and still got 3rd row seats in the middle of the theater. I'll say the parks were not crowded at that time and we walked onto all rides but Soarin pretty much. Even when we went over Spring Break, we didn't use the dining package, just got food from the food court across the way and ate dinner in the theater about an hour and a half before show time. Usually by that time of day, my family has no problem sitting and waiting anywhere that has seats. Our Prime Time ADR was for 6:30pm and we got there at 5:50 and were seated by 6pm so it did take us almost 2 hours to finish our meals there. Again, by the evening, we're ready to sit and Prime Time is airconditioned with cushy seats (bonus).
