Looking for some opinions on which RESORT character breakfast to try for our last day. Me(Grandma), DD, 2 DGDs (7+11). Our flight out isn't until evening. We want to spend some time at FW on our last day - renting boats and having a late lunch at Trails End. I'm thinking a resort breakfast is a nice way to spend our last morning.

1) Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary (the best character b-fast at Disney)

or

2) Character Breakfast at Ohna's at Polynesian

or

3) Cape May Buffet at Yacht/Beach Club

They're all great

Ohana at the polly is very nice and Chief Mickey's is great for bkfst and there is a boat to fw from there.

Definitely Chef Mickey's. It has an awesome breakfast buffet and there are characters everywhere. They come to your table and take pics with you. The overall experience is fun and enjoyable for the whole family. Be sure to get PS, especially if you have a big group.

My favorite pics from Chef Mickeys:

I'd go to 1900 Park Fare at the GF. The food is great and I like the mix of characters. When we were there in May, we had Mary Poppins and Bert, Alice in Wonderland, Pooh, and Eeyore. Typically, the Mad Hatter is there rather than Bert. I've done Ohana as well and although I liked the family style aspect rather than getting up to go to the buffet, the food selection is very limited.

CHEF MICKEY'S
THe food selection is wonderful and the atmosphere is Disney!
And the best part is the monorail going over head while dining.. and after breakfast, you can shop at the Contemporary Grand Concourse...
ENJOY!!!

Another vote for Chef Mickey's..always rates #1..Mickey's here ;)

Other good buffet character meals would also include The Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare, or Ohana at the PR for their character breakfast - Minnie's Menehune Breakfast

My vote is for Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. An excellent buffet, not too noisy, little wait, and GREAT character interaction. Minnie Mouse "kidnapped" my son! He was only 2 at the time. The characters really spent a lot of time with us and we never once felt rushed.

Chef Mickey's is nice, but it was chaotic and noisy. Although, the took a family picture before we were seated, which I thought was a nice touch.

If you do Chef Mickey's for Breakfast, you can take the boat launch over to Fort Wilderness and avoid any transportation hassles from other resorts. I certainly don't think you can go wrong w/ Chef Mickey's.

Have a great trip.

For a "Grandma and the girls" breakfast, I would defiately reccomend 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. The food is MUCH better than at Chef Mickey's and the setting and characters are great for little girls! I bet your granddaughters would LOVE seeing the Grand Floridian. After breakfast you could just hop the monorail to the MK and take the boat to FW.
