Opinions- June or August 2018

So my oldest will be in between 2nd and 3rd grade in 2018 and we'd rather not take him out of school. So our choices would be the second/third week of June or the third week of August. We know it will be hot, but general experience and crowd levels considered, which would you choose?

I wouldn't go during that time period personally. Your child is going to be in 3rd grade, why not let him miss some school & get his assignments ahead of time? I realize this is a personal decision for families, but have never understood the reluctance of having a child miss some days of school over spending quality family time. Family always comes before school in our world. (yes this includes family vacations)

I LOVE going in August. Yes it's hot but I live in CT and it gets oppressive and we just sit indoors if not in the pool so why not walk around Disney.

I have never been in June, well I was but I was 3 and don't remember it. I went in July and I think that is worse then August.
