Opinions-HJ Maingate West

I would greatly appreciate opinions from anyone who has stayed at the Howard Johnson Maingate West (8660 Irlo Bronson). We are arriving very late on a Weds night and will stay until Saturday morning. We'll have our own car and figure we can stay at the parks or do something else all day, everyday.

I have searched SO many cheap hotels and finally found this to be the best price ($40 AAA rate) and atleast a 2 star. I know it's not going to be that great, but their website dose say the rooms have been recently updated!?

Any advice?

it's not bad. DH stayed there for a few days before he moved into our apt. AK is right down the road and there are plenty of places to eat in the vicinity.
