I feel tempted to make a PS for Concourse Steak House.I don't want to do California Grill ,since we are doing Tchoup-Tchoup.It looked at the menu and it looked interesting. If not Concourse then I like to try a buffet like Cape May.Just DH and I..What do you think??:scratchin

The Concourse Steakhouse is one our (mine and husband's) favorite places for a nice meal. It is not fancy, but decent. I have never had a bad steak there yet. The buffet is nice but it depends on what you enjoy more, serving yourself many different foods or a sit down with a meal served. When on vacation we prefer the sit down most of the time because I feel like the server normally every other day. : ) You'll hear noise from Chef Mickeys but its enjoyable to us to hear the kids get all excited. Good luck with your choice. If you can't do both this time, pick one now and you'll have the other to look forward to on your next WDW vacation! Lynn

I agree, I have had a steak there, it is one of the better steaks at disney, but there are much better off property, my main concern is your kids, I took my parents, my brother, sister in-law and nephew, he was very interested in chef mickeys. not the meal.

I agree w/ Eggleboo-it's decent, not fancy. I'd classify it as a "middle of the road" Steakhouse. We've had dinner there 3 times--each time it was crowded and rather noisy, food good, service about average. I sort of see it mostly as a place you'd eat at if you were staying at the Contemporary.

We think it's pretty good. Seems like we end up there some times on our arrival day. It's a good chance to get in the Disney mood being at the CR, riding the monorail, etc., and it doesn't seem to take a lot of time(and everyone is tired and hungry from the trip). Not extraordinary, but fun.

I would say that the Concourse Steakhouse is just slightly more upscale than Outback or Longhorn. I always enjoy it there, my husband is a meat and potatos guy so it is a must-do for him. We always ask for a table as far away from Chef Mickey's as possible, that way it is pretty quiet. Make sure you get PSs though, when we were there in early Nov they were turning away walk-ups despite plenty of open tables.
