Hi,

I "accidentally" got a reservation at Hilton for the President's Day weekend (Fri and Sat) through Priceline for $70 per night. I did not think I was getting anything for this price given the dates and I was hoping I would get Swan or Dolphin (since they also participants with Priceline), maybe at a higher price.

Can you give me your opinion on this hotel or if there is anything that we can request.

Thanks

We just stayed at the Hilton last weekend on a Priceline bid for $70. I never thought about the Hilton either. I was hoping for MOWC, Wyndham, or even S&D. I wasn't really dissaapointed though because when you use Priceline you take your chances. Well, we absolutley loved the Hilton. The rooms were not huge but they were very clean and nicely furnished. The beds were really comfy, double sheeted with down blanktes and pillows. It was really a great location. A 5 minute walk to the Marketpalce. We did not eat at the restaurants but they look fine. The pools were warm and clean(and empty). The staff was very kind and acomodating. Since this is about what you would pay for and All Star resort the weekend you are going it is quite a bargain. I cannot comment on the bus service since we always drive. We did talk to several families who used it to go to the parks and had no complaints. I was very freetful before our stay here, but would not hesitiate to stay here again. I forgot that we did request a room in the Tower at check-in and since the hotle was virtually empty they did give us one-very nice.

I stayed at this hotel on Priceline too ($55 last March). It's really quite nice! I had a room on the top floor with no view of anything interesting. There is a Disney store in the lobby where I was able to purchase an e-night ticket.

The busses seemed to be running frequently. I had a car, which worked well for both the e-night and Fantasmic.

Enjoy your stay!

Maybe it will make you feel better if I reminded you that the Hilton, Swan & Dolphin are the only non-WDW resort hotels that will be participating in Early Entry (aka Extra Magic Hour).

As the others have posted, the Hilton is very close/walking distance to DD. IMHO, $70/night is a very good deal for this hotel over President's Day weekend. Enjoy the trip!

Thanks for everyone's input. I will not have hope that we will get an upgrade assuming that weekend will be sold out. But it is nice to be this close to DD that we can just roam around without even going to the park.

Thanks again.
