Hello-

We're booked on the March 20 Eastern cruise. This is my third time on board, but am taking the DH along for the ride this time for his first visit. We booked cat8 outside, and were given room 6508. When I looked at the deck plans I see that this is as about far forward as it gets. I have been in the stern in a Navogator's verandah and loved that location, but I'm looking for an opinion on this new location.

We were in 7502 which is the same location cabin, but 1 deck up. Also, we usually get a navigator's and can draw comparisons. I'd say the major difference that I'm sure you're already prepared for is the loss of a verandah. The huge window is a nice vew however. The cabin interior-wise is about the same. You're not as far forward in the ship as you can go, there are crew cabins or storage in front of yours. Didn't notice any unusual noises; you still get the steering jets like you do in the aft of the ship when docking in ports. Didn't notice any sound of the ship cutting thru the ocean or anything of that sort. The biggest incinvenience we noticed was it being a long hike to Topsiders, but was very convenient leaving the shows. Feel free to ask questions :)
