I hope I can post this link (its to an ebay auction but its not mine, so it shouldn't be any different than posting to a camera link on bestbuy or something )

http://cgi.ebay.com/Flash-Diffuser-...ameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting

I was thinking about picking this up for playing around a little bit, using it when I use the flash to fill-in indoors and stuff. The price is right obviously.

What does anyone think?

It's cheaper to buy a roll of film and use the translucent white container as a diffuser (just cut out an area so you can fit the pop-up flash into it).

OR you can use a very thin but sturdy piece of paper too.

IF you want hassle free, of course, what you've shown us will be 'da bomb!

Unless it's Kodak film where the containers are black. :crazy2:

nice. I'm trying to improve my photography but my budget is VERY limited right now :-)

My concern with a diffuser like one in the link is that it will block the area on most flashes that performs internal metering functionality. If you are going try a diffuser it should be one that blocks or attaches to the flash head only. In the old days we would angle the flash head towards the ceiling to create a softer lighting from a bounce effect.

You could save your money and tape the check you would send to them over the front of the flash :rotfl2:

Thanks for the info on Kodak film containers. I haven't used Kodak film for the last 12 years. Fuji still uses translucent white container and I used to use it for my Canon Rebel pop-up flash.
