Our family of 5 adults & 2 kids( 2 & 6 yrs.) are planning a 9 night stay in Anaheim and would like opinions on The Best Western Anaheim Inn. We have reserved a double bed room and the largest suite they have available for those dates. The closeness to Disneyland is a plus but how does this Inn compare to other accomodations that some of you have stayed in? Is the pool OK? Is it clean & are the beds comfortable?
No one seems to talk about the BW Anaheim Inn and I'm beginning to wonder why? Also........does anyone know if I can do better than the quoted rates of $119.00 for the 2 double & $169.00 for the family suite at another CLOSE to Disneyland location?
Thanks in advance.

We've stayed there twice and enjoyed it. We choose it for the location. The regular rooms are small but clean. The pool is small but clean. We were just at DL March 17 and could have booked for $99 per night, but they were having a deal for people who did GAD so we paid $119 each for 2 nights and got a 3rd free. They're on Facebook and Twitter and occasionally post deals there. I must add that we are not accustomed to "nice" hotels so our standards may be lower than some. But we'll definitely stay there again. Our relatives stay there too.

If one of the adults is over 55 they offer a seniors discount. We got a $20 discount per night. Hope that helps:)

I stayed there many years ago and found it to be quite nice. I travel with daycare kids from Idaho so the closer to the park I can be the better. You won't find anything fancy about it but for the price, the convenience of location to the park you'll find it enjoyable.

Thanks for the response. That makes me feel much better knowing that the rooms are clean. I am a senior so the discount helps.

I am staying here right now. It is so close and very clean. I would stay here again.

femommy....

Someone posted that the double bed room was "smallish" in size. Can you confirm this? And also, have you seen the largest family suite ? If so, please comment on that. Are there any Starbucks or "gourmet" coffee places nearby? Your comment on this and anything else would be much appreciated.

Me and my family stayed there last year and it was clean and the pool was good for the kids to hit after a day at the parks. We were going to stay there in three weeks but have since booked at gch.hve never stayed at a four star hotel so i couldn't resist when i found a decent price but would definitly stay at the bestwestern anaheim inn again

They are a little on the small size but it is very manageable. My husband and I are not petite and have fit comfortably in the bed. We both like space while sleeping.

Also as for the coffee. I am sorry I have not paid attention to that detail. It is a Diet Dr. Pepper for me in the AM. :cool1:

There was a Dennys right next door I believe. We had a good experience at BW and would stay again.

I agree with those who have previously posted. I have stayed there twice with my family and found it to be very nice and accommodating. I wouldn't say its anything "extravagant" or completely "luxurious", but its certainly comfortable, clean, and the location is wonderful! For us, we're at the parks the majority of every day, anyway, so all we ask for is a clean room and a comfy bed to come back to, and with this hotel, we've always gotten just that. :thumbsup2
