Opinion needed for breakfast! please! Edited with 2 more questions!

Hey everyone!

I wanted everyone's opinions for breakfast...

We are staying at the GF for our disneymoon...

Already planned breakfasts...
O'Hana's
Akershus
Grand Flordian Cafe...(i think)

now...

Which do you reccomend, Kona Cafe or Boma?
If you say Boma, can you tell me how far it is from GF?
If you do not like either, please let me know your suggestions!

ETA: will we be able to see any of the animals at Boma, or walking around afterwards? Thanks!
ETA: Should i nix the grand flordian cafe idea and do kona and boma??

Boma! It's pretty far from everything as the Animal Kingdom Lodge is a little out of the way BUT... It is SO worth it. Best Breakfast at Disney! Congrats!

Definitely Kona for us! It is a must do. We haven't made it to Boma for breakfast yet but were very disappointed in the dinner after all the raves here on the Dis.

That said, AKL is beautiful, and yes you can walk around to see the animals so I would say to go there instead of GFC. Might be a bit of a hassle if you do not have a car though. You would either have to take a cab or take a bus to a Park and then hop on the AKL bus. Then you can take the bus from there to whatever Park you planned for the day.

Kona is a must for breakfast for us just to get Tonga Toast! It could take awhile to get to the AKL for Boma, but it you are up for an adventure, I'd pick that over the Grand Floridian Cafe.

I would honestly get rid of Grand Floridan Cafe and choose both Kona and Boma. I've never been to Kona Cafe for breakfast but have heard wonderful things about breakfast there. Plus, I've been there for lunch/dinner and it's one of my favorite restaurants since the food is delicious.

And Boma breakfast is one of the best! It's a buffet so there's lots of options. Plus, there's more than just your typical breakfast fare. One of the best things there was the goat cheese and chives scrambled eggs...I could eat those everyday for breakfast!

I've never had breakfast at the GF Cafe, so can't offer any opinions on that, though it is a nice restaurant and I've enjoyed lunches there a couple times. Kona is one of my two favorite breakfasts on property, (the other being Kouzzina.) Boma is good too, I love their scrambled eggs with goat cheese, almost worth a trip there just for those.

I've never had breakfast at the GF cafe... but the dinner there is really good. Maybe you could do breakfast at one of your other choices, but still do the GF for dinner?

Seriously i think you made a very good choice. Kona is AMAZING!!!!! And Boma has such a wide variety.....so you did good. ...and who cares how far Boma is!? Distance has never stopped me from going to a good restaurant. I'd travel til the ends of the earth if it means i'll be getting a good meal! Plus the AKL is gorgeous!!!! And if you plan to go to AK on the day you go to Boma, your fine! Enjoy!

I have never done Kona and some rave about the tonga toast, others say it is too too sweet, they have the big kahuna breakfast but I would rather do a buffet myself and Boma is one of the best if not the best buffet I have ever eaten. In fact I have a reservation for there on our upcoming trip at Boma and plan on taking a taxi there in the am($20 or less with tip) since we are staying at WL

I plan on showing DH AKL since he has never been there and taking in a few of the animails when we visit to eat at Boma

I considered GF cafe and I would drop it since it has a rather small menu unless you go there for the quieter atmosphere.
