My parents move fast. I'm already scheduled to have the cyst removed Tuesday. :( I will have to be in the hospital for a few days and miss at least a wk of school. I've never stayed in a hospital before and the closest thing I've had to surgury was getting my wisedom teeth pulled over the holidays. *whimper*

I'm sorry to hear about your operation, I just found your original post myself. I wish you nothing but the best for you.

Good luck on Tuesday. I'm sure you'll make out fine. Please keep us posted.

I'll keep good thoughts for you Angie. Better to get it over with. As a senior, I'm sure you can keep on top of your classes. Try not to worry. Hang in there.

Angie, I haven't been around all that much lately so I didn't realize you were having any problems. I am sorrry to hear you are having surgery and I am sending you a bucket load of get-better-soon pixie dust.

Sending prayers your way Angie. I go in the 24th for surgery too.
Scott

Good luck!! It will go smoothly.

The first time I was ever in the hospital (except for having babies) was to have a cyst removed.........I was at the zoo walking around all day less than 2 weeks later.

{{{hugs}}} I know it is a scary thing to go through.

Angie, I'm sure it will go smoothly. Take care and good luck! {{{hugs}}}

{{{{ hugs}}}} to you and hoping things go smoothly:D

I've had this surgery several times. Don't be afraid, it's not going to be as bad as you fear and they give you good drugs.

{{{HUGS}}} sweetie, everything is going to be alright.

Angie, it is scary. But lots of people have operations everyday. If it would help you, find out as much about it as you can. How many operations the doctor has performed of this kind, the details of what is wrong, realistically how long your recovery period would be, maybe talking to someone who has had this type of surgery would help.

Just tell your family and friends what you need and want and what you are afraid of. They will want to do their very best to help you.

{{{hugs}}}

EVerything will be fine, Angie. Are they going to be able to do it with the laproscope? If so, you will only have two tiny little inscisions.

Angie, you will be n and out in no time ;) Please keep us posted. Okay?

I would like to have your addess to send a card. Can you PM or e-mail me?

Thanks!

I've never had to spend much time in the hospital, I've been there more staying with my girls than ever on my own.

Do let us know the hosptial & name so we can send a card or something. I've you'd like to appoint someone to give it out to those that are interested I'd do that for you. Maybe give your parents an email address or something. If they'd rather call someone to keep us updated we can provide that too.

Prayers that all will go well and you'll be much better and back to school in no time!

Hope all goes well and you have a quick and painfree recovery!
Take care, Angie!

Oh Im so sorry to hear about this Angiebelle! Prayers & pixie dust to you!!!
And please keep us updated when you feel up to posting. Take care.

Oh Angie, I am so sorry all this is going on. I have been off the internet for a week as I was with my DD is Winston-Salem, NC as she went to a training school for her bank. Where are you having your surgery? I had an ovarian cyst (and my whole left ovary) removed when I was 23 between my two children. I was up and about in no time. I am sure you will do well and be sure and let us know how you are doing. Many, many hugs to you! I told my DD that we had to come and see before too much longer since graduation was very very soon! {{{{HUGS}}}}

I had surgery once and if I recall correctly, I didn't sleep at all the night before so understand your fear. Best of luck to you, am sure everything will turn out alright, but that doesn't make it any less scary. Maybe your Dr. can give you something to help you get a good night's sleep the night before.

My very best wishes, Angie, you be doing fine in a few days. take care, hang in there, you have a LOT of friends here all pulling for ya. {{Hugs}}
