I received a response and the name of a soldier in the k-9 unit. What is strange is his last name is the maiden name of my grandmother and great aunt on my mother's side of the family.

I just got my names.
I requested a k-9 unit one, due to the fact that I work at a veterinary hosp. It's funny. The young man has my nephews first name, and the dog, it is the same type my nephew had.
My nephew, Jason, just had his Belgian Malinois put down right after Christmas. She had cancer all through her.

Kinda weird how these things find you.

We also asked for a name of someone else in the military. They sent us two. One is a PFC, young woman, the other is a young woman that is a 2LT. We will try to get these packages out to them soon.

Where do you all plan on shopping? If this things goes on for a while, they will need care packages for a while.

How many do you intend to send?
